Australian actor Wayne Pygram goes through an enormous amount of work each day to be transformed into Scorpius,  one of  the Uncharted Territories' nastiest villains...

CONCEPT ARTWORK

One of the Scorpius action figures from Toy Vault. Even as a toy, Scorpius is creepy. 

The early costume concepts were designed for a much stockier figure. There was a lot of body armor and weaponry as part of the costume itself.

In one of the early concept drawings for Scorpius, he looked like a cross between a bird and a bug. 

Scorpy's costume is immortalized in  trading cards  from Rittenhouse Archives. 

 

Notice the claws on the boots, the studs on the gloves and the armored shoulders.

Later he began to look more like the Scorpius we all know and love to hate.

What is it about this guy that makes everyone want to look like him? Crichton (above) & Aeryn (below)

Here, the costumes are much closer to the final design with the tails and mask in place and the large shoulder attachments.

MASKS & MAKEUP

The Creature Shop made a mask of Wayne's head during the process of designing Scorpius's final look. (Check out the process on the D'Argo Page)

Dave Elsey from the Creature Shop applies Hot Flesh to Wayne's face. The concoction is so well designed that you can even see Wayne blush through it!

Somehow, those teeth look a lot worse on Wayne than they do on Scorpius.
