Virginia Hey in real life

Before her untimely death at the age of 812, Zhaan was a Delvian Pa'u (priest) who worked to attain spirituality through the Delvian Seek.

Zhaan was originally going to be a man, but once they switched 
over to a woman, this is one of the first designs they came up with.

Zhaan's costumes are generally soft and gauzy. Originally the idea was that her looks would be a contrast for D'Argo because they were going to be playing a lot of scenes together.

CONCEPT ARTWORK

One of the early concept drawings for Zhaan. In the beginning Zhaan was supposed to be a man, a sort of Buddha-like character. One thought was that he would be computer-generated rather than live.

Before she became Zhaan, one of the roles Virginia played was Warrior Woman in Mad Max: The Road Warrior.
