	The real Anthony Simcoe! He's taken D'Argo from a one-dimensional warrior character to a guy with very deep feelings and a great sense of humor.

CONCEPT ARTWORK

Some of the earlier versions of D'Argo

Originally D'Argo had green eyes. The contact lenses were very troublesome to Anthony and so in some of the early episodes he went back and forth between the green and Anth's blue eyes. They finally decided to stick with the blue.

MAKING A BODY CAST

Anthony's body is encased in plaster.

While he's inside, the Creature Shop folks keep talking and joking with him so that he'll remain calm.

Once the plaster hardens, the cast is removed.

Before covering his face in plaster, they smear him with gunk like the stuff that dentists use to get a mold of your teeth.

When the plaster is removed, there's a perfect image of Anthony's face inside. This is the mold for the face. See the image at right of the finished product.

The finished body. The Creature Shop uses this to make prosthetics for D'Argo.

Originally Anthony had created a different voice for "Dandy D'Argo," but it was revoiced in ADR to ensure that people knew who he was.
